Chris Brown definitely won't be invited to his neighborhood's next block party!

The newly single R&B singer decided to adorn his Hollywood Hills home with some rather "loud" artwork that he painted himself. The graffiti-like drawings are of colorful monsters with googly eyes and giant teeth.

Unfortunately, the neighbors aren't as thrilled about Chris' masterpiece as he is and they are trying to force him to remove the eyesore or else!

Because city ordinance specifies that it's illegal to create murals on most private properties, Chris was fined $376 and has been ordered to axe the artwork within the next 30 days.

The "Run It" singer won't let a little fine stop him, though. His attorney, Mark Geragos, argued that they are trying to suspend his first amendment rights by ordering the paintings to be removed.

Chris also took to his Twitter to defend his monster murals. He retweeted a post by the Associated Press that said, "Chris Brown's neighbor on his art: "There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they're literally frightened,'" and then responded with, "Keep em inside then! It's art. There are scarier creatures on Harry Potter. Get a f*cking life!"

Do you think Chris should be allowed to keep the "art" on his property?
