It appears Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's romance will only be on screen from now on.After three years of dating, the Vampire Diaries stars have reportedly called it quits, with a slew of media outlets announcing their break-up Thursday.
While neither Nina or Ian have officially confirmed the split themselves yet on their respective social networking pages, we took a look at what the actors have been up to since their break-up was brought to the forefront.
Ian may have spent his Friday tweeting about LED light bulbs and energy savings, but the 34-year-old hottie, who is currently in Belgium, had something else on his mind yesterday (which was coincidentally right around the time the web lit up with the break-up news.)

Aside from that cryptic tweet, Ian said he's "excited" to be back in Europe to discuss "European growth and integration" for his Ian Somerhalder Foundation.
Meanwhile, across the pond, Nina has been silent on her WhoSay and Twitter pages since the split was announced.
She was still in New York City as of Tuesday, rocking the red carpet solo at the Met Gala in NYC Monday, and then heading to lunch in the Big Apple the next day.
News of the duo's split comes just a couple of weeks after Nina headed to Miami for a girls' weekend with Julianne Hough and Ian headed overseas to China following the wrap of production of Vampire Diaries' season four.
Don't expect the couple's off-screen split to affect their chemistry on-screen though.
According to an Us Weekly source, the couple are "consummate professionals" and "will continue to work together."
And speaking of work, Nina will be curing her breakup blues with a new project.
The brunette beauty will be spending the summer shooting Let's Be Cops, playing Damon Wayans Jr.'s love interest.
