On the season finale of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle Evans' strained relationship with her mom, Barbara, reaches a new low after Barbara finds drugs in Jenelle's house.
Jenelle is furious with her mom for invading her privacy and Jenelle's boyfriend, Kieffer Delp, presses charges against Barbara and her boyfriend for trespassing.
Barbara, who fears for Jenelle's life, goes to the magistrate and requests that Jenelle be detained for a psychiatric evaluation, but after she passes the evaluation and is released, Jenelle is angrier than ever at her mom.
Fellow Teen Mom Leah Messer (Calvert) is also taking drastic measures for the welfare of her child.
Searching for a diagnosis for little Ali, Leah and her family bring her to a doctor that is three hours from their home, hoping that he can help her.
Ali must undergo a series of procedures and tests and Leah and her ex-husband, Corey Simms, are heartbroken watching their little daughter having to suffer through them.
The good news is that the tests are starting to provide Leah and Corey with some answers, but the bad news is that they aren't necessarily answers that the young parents want to hear.
While Leah has a lot of support from the father of her kids, Chelsea Houska is raising her daughter, Aubree, without much help from Aubree's father, Adam.
After taking a month off from beauty school and making her father nervous that she wouldn't return, Chelsea does commit to go back to school.
On the day that she was supposed to go back, Chelsea slept in and decided to skip the day, having her daughter Aubree call her father to break the bad news.
Fortunately, despite being locked out of her room by Aubree while she's trying to get ready, Chelsea makes it to school the next day and proves that she is dedicated to finishing her courses.
Out of all of the girls, Kailyn Lowry probably had the most eventful episode.
With boyfriend Javi Marroquin's Air Force training coming up, the two decide to go to the court house and get married so that Kailyn and her son Isaac can be added on to Javi's benefits package.
The two exchange vows in a 20-minute ceremony at the courthouse and then go out to celebrate with some friends who question their motives for getting married.
When the time comes for Javi to leave for basic training, he has a tough time saying goodbye. Knowing that he'll be gone for five months, the whole family struggles with his departure and the episode ends with a tearful goodbye as Kailyn, Isaac and Javi's family drop him off at the Air Force office.
