Beyonce and Jay-Z released the first photos of their newborn daughter Blue Ivy on Friday, along with a request for privacy."We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family," a handwritten note read. The note was then photographed and included with other shots of Beyonce and Jay-Z holding Blue Ivy.
In the photos, Blue Ivy can be seen wrapped in a polka-dotted blanket and also surrounded by striped blankets. Look for yourself, but you can definitely see similar facial features between her mom and dad... along with a full head of hair!
The photos were released on Jay-Z's blog Life and Times. Immediately after the photos were published, the site was down for a brief period of time.
