Emma Watson and Logan Lerman
Why are movie kisses always so perfect?!

The music starts playing at just the right time, the actors never bang noses, neither of them seems worried about having bad breath and they always know exactly when to end the lip lock.

In real life....well, it doesn't always go so smoothly.

Fortunately, we can live vicariously through all of the on-screen smooches we've seen from some of our favorite actors.

This Sunday, MTV is forcing us to decide between the five most romantic movie moments of 2012 to determine who should win the "Best Kiss" award at the VMAs.

Let's take a look at the nominees...

First, we have the long-awaited kiss between
Emma Watson and Logan Lerman (Sam and harlie) in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which had audiences cheering in theaters everywhere.

Then, we have Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook. Both of their characters (Tiffany and Pat) seemed like love was the last thing on their minds, but after they realized their chemistry during a sexy dance routine together, things definitely started to heat up.

The third contender is the awkwardly adorable duo of Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman (Suzy and Sam) in
Moonrise Kingdom who also share their kiss after a dance number. We'll admit, this one isn't quite as steamy as the others, but it's definitely entertaining!

Giving the other three contenders a run for their money are Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx in Django Unchained. After their characters, Django and Broomhilda, had been torn apart, Django chivalrously travels across the country to be reunited with his lover and they share a kiss that is sexy even in the shadow shot!

The last kiss on the list is between Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg (Lori and John) in Ted. These two definitely upped the ante when Mark's character surprises Mila's character with a surprise proposal. Even the outspoken Ted can't help but enjoy the super sweet moment.

So, there you have it...those are the five choices.

Who do you think deserves to win the moonman for “Best Kiss”?
