The celeb-designed collection, aims to inspire high school students to customize their own shoes for Vans' Custom Culture contest, which offers a prize of $50,000 towards their high school arts program. While others went all out with their designs, KStew clearly kept things simple.
Art teachers can register their school for participation in the contest now. The first 1,000 schools to sign up successfully will be sent four pairs of Vans shoes to customize. Design submissions will be accepted in March, and Vans staff members will narrow down the entries to 50 -- 10 schools from each region in the country.
Then, fans can vote for the top five finalists, who will be flown to Los Angeles to be judged by a special panel. The winner will score the sweet $50,000 prize for its art program. For more info on the contest, visit Vans.com/customculture and watch the video below.
