Is Katy Perry leaning on ex-husband Russell Brand for support after her breakup with John Mayer?According to RadarOnline, Katy has been texting Russell for support since she split with John last month.
Their source revealed, "Katy reached out to him after she split with John, bemoaning her luck with men and Russell provided her with some much-needed reassurance. He flattered her with compliments and just listened to her every word."
Hmm...this could lend some credibility to the theory that John was jealous of Katy and Russell's continued friendship.
As for whether or not they'll get back together, the source revealed, "She's very respectful of Russell's reasons for their break-up and would never overstep the line by begging for him to come back...she does, however, think that he was definitely the love of her life."
So, it looks like the ball is in Russell's court.
