Khloé Kardashian Odom is angry about the claims that her husband is a charity scam artist.As we reported, a recent investigation concluded that Lamar Odom's charity, Cathy's Kids had raised over $2.2 million since its creation in 2004 and that not a single cent had actually gone toward any kind of charitable cause.
On her website, Khloé lashed out at critics, saying "It is unfortunate that my husband has been the target of an attack on athletes' charities, although he has personally contributed approximately $2.2 million to his foundation, Cathy's Kids, to fulfill its charitable purposes that include helping underprivileged inner-city youth."
She also claims that Lamar contributed over 90% of the $2.2 million raised and that "not one penny went to help Lamar personally or any member of his family."
In the statement, Khloé did acknowledge that the charity was formed for two reasons (to help inner-city youth and to help raise money for charity) and that they ultimately decided to drop the cancer cause and focus exclusively on inner-city youth.
