Scott Disick walking. If you were appalled when Scott Disick killed the alligator on this week's episode of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, you weren't alone.
After meeting former Bachelor contestant Vienna Girardi in a bar, Scott visits her family's alligator farm wanting to kill one of the animals and make loafers from its skin.

As if the whole premise weren't disturbing enough, the show actually aired the gory footage of Scott shooting the innocent animal.

While Scott seemed pretty happy about his hunting trip, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) had a different opinion about the whole situation.

In a statement to Hollywood.com, PETA explained their outrage over the alligator-hunting outing.

"It takes a small man to kill an animal for fun," the spokesperson said.

They also explained that what we were seeing when the "dead" animal's nerves were still responding while it was being skinned might not have been as innocent as it seemed.

"Although exotic animals are mostly unfamiliar to many people, the pain that they endure is real," they explained. "With their slow metabolism, it can take hours for an alligator's heart to stop beating as they suffer and slowly die."

PETA emphasized that alligators and other wild animals "deserve to live unmolested with their families, rather than being hunted down in their homes and killed for a cheap human thrill."

The organization definitely found an ally in Tori Spelling who tweeted her disgust with Lord Disick's hunting trip, writing "Any1 else upset by 2nite ep of K&K Take Miami? Taking alligators life on camera as a storyline&making a mockery of it sent me over the edge."

Do you agree? Are you angry about Scott shooting the alligator?
