In just a few short years, we've see Britney Spears go from pop princess to suburban soccer mom.
Now, of course, there were a few phases in between.
We had shaved-head Britney (followed by pink wig-wearing Britney, naturally), British accent Britney, partying with Paris Hilton Britney, rehab Britney, losing custody of her kids Britney, Britney the fast-food drive-thru queen, 5150 psychiatric hold Britney and... let's not forget umbrella Britney.
Suffice it to say, the road to soccer mom wasn't exactly smooth...and Ms. Spears did suffer some bumps and bruises along the way (namely a couple of divorces and some tattoos she probably wishes she would have given just a little more thought to), but now she finally seems to have found her happy place.
Things started to take a turn for the better when Britney's father, Jamie Spears, became her conservator back in 2008.
There was yet another uptick when Britney began dating manager Jason Trawick, who later became her co-conservator. The pair was often seen out doing normal "couples" things and Britney seemed like she had really found happiness...and perhaps most importantly, a sense of stability.
That's why we were all a little worried when Britney and Jason split back in January. The last thing any of us wanted to see was Britney revert to her old, wildly unpredictable ways.
Fortunately, it looks like we're already out of the woods.
In the months since the split, Britney actually seems to be doing better than ever.
She's always out and about with her kids... chauffeuring them from one activity to another, rooting them on at their soccer games, taking them to gymnastics, bringing them along on errands with her...you know, the typical suburban soccer mom stuff. The only thing she's missing is the minivan!
The Britney that used to run amuck at a moment's notice has given way to the responsible, doting mother that we see today.
While it wasn't unusual to see the old Britney dashing off to the drugstore in the middle of the night behind her handler's backs to score things she wasn't supposed to have, it has now become commonplace to see Britney going grocery shopping or leaving Target with a cart full of family-friendly necessities.
She's even gone golfing with rumored new beau David Lucado.
If all of that doesn't sound normal, we don't know what does!
Britney has definitely come a long way since her head-shaving days...and we have to say we couldn't be more proud of the former pop princess!
