Emma Watson is not interested in playing Anastasia Steele.The rumor mill was buzzing that the Harry Potter actress could be up for the lead role in the movie version of the best-selling novel 50 Shades of Grey, which was originally inspired by Twilight.
In the book, naive college student Anastasia Steele falls in love with sexy business mogul Christian Grey, who's got a serious taste for S&M sex.
But Emma took to Twitter this weekend to shoot down any involvement with the film.
"Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life," she wrote. "Good. Well then that's sorted then."
But other Hollywood stars have been campaigning for a part in the movie. The Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder has expressed interest in playing Christian Grey.
