There's going to be Purple Rain at South by Southwest this weekend!Prince has just been confirmed to perform at Samsung's SXSW closing party in Austin, TX on Saturday night and it's his very first time playing at the annual film and music festival. How exciting! The Smashing Pumpkins are also performing Saturday at the Red Bull party.

Wednesday's lineup features a fresh mix of both new and established artists, including Kendrick Lamar, Shiny Toy Guns, Natalie Maines, Tenacious D, Foxes, Barcelona and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
