Is Lady Gaga about to become Mrs. Stefani While Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney may have gotten fake married in the singer's "Yoü and I" video, rumors are running rampant that the pair is set to tie the knot for real this summer.
The Daily Star quotes one of Gaga's best friends, DJ Lady Starlight, as saying, "From all I've heard, I don't think I'm dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year."
Knowing how close those two are, Lady Starlight would definitely be the one to ask...so if the really said that, we'd say it's a sure thing!
The only problem is that Lady Starlight herself has slammed the report saying the whole thing is made up. "Wow @daily_star making up quotes," she tweeted. "Anyone who ever spoke to me would know I would never say the words 'get hitched' nxt time do ur research."
Whether it's soon... or very far off in her future, we know that the "Marry the Night" singer does plan to one day marry someone and that she takes the commitment very seriously.
"My grandmother... was married to my grandfather for 60 years," she said during an interview on The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet. "My parents are still together --30 years. Divorce is not an option for me. It's like, 'I'm gonna get married and that's it. He's stuck with me....even if it's the hardest thing you've ever been through, you just stick it out."
She also told Elle magazine that she does, in fact, want children. "I want to have babies for my Dad to hold, grandkids. And I want to have a husband who loves and supports me, just the way anyone else does," the singer dished.
Although we can't predict when Lady Gaga will decide she's ready to marry and have children, there is one thing we can be sure of...Mother Monster won't be caught dead wearing "mom" jeans!
