Zayn Malik: Pressure of Fame Too Much, If Not for One Direction Guys

The One Direction guys have had to deal with the highs and lows of stardom pretty quickly--and it seems Zayn Malik would have "given it all up" if not for the support of his bandmates.

In an interview with The Sunday Life (via Sugarscape.com), Zayn said, "The best thing about being in the band is the other four lads. I've got four very good mates and that's cool. We all keep each other down to earth and there's defo no way I could have done this as a solo artist."

He added, "I would have cracked and given it all up and gone home by now. The lads keep me grounded and it's good to know you're not the only person going through everything. We're sharing every experience."

Aww, the 1D guys really are besties.

We should thank them all for supporting each other...it's got to have been (and continue to be) a crazy surreal ride as superstars.
