According to TheWrap.com, the 19-year-old will no longer be starring in the action film "due to scheduling conflicts." A source close to the project confirmed the news to the site on Monday.
'Stretch Armstrong,' inspired by the popular Hasbro action figure, was expected to be released this year, and Taylor was expected to earn a reported $7.5 million for the role. The Wrap adds that Tay had made room in his busy schedule to be a part of the project, dropping out of 'Max Steel' and 'Northern Lights.'
A new cast will be announced soon, and Relativity has reset the movie's release date to April 11, 2014. Taylor's next movie, 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2,' will arrive in theaters on November 16.
