One Direction Win Worst Band Award?

We thought it was crazy when One Direction was nominated for a NME Worst Band Award, but now they've actually gone and won the dang thing.

We demand a recount!

Seriously, Directioners know there must be a mistake here--1D beat out Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Alt-J, Mumford & Sons, and Muse for the worst honor.

Stranger yet? One Direction won the Worst Band Award last year as well!

We're sure they're having a laugh over the honor...you know, laughing all the way to the bank!

Of course, Zayn, Louis, Niall, Liam and Harry were too busy with their mega huge tour to be at the NME Awards to pick up their worst band trophy.
