Did Jennifer Lawrence offend her fellow Oscar contender Jessica Chastain? During her appearance on Saturday Night Live, Jen joked about her competition in a skit, saying "Jessica Chastain? More like Jessica Chast-ain't winning an Oscar on my watch."Although Jennifer was clearly kidding, rumors started flying that Jessica was "furious" at Jen for mocking her and stealing her Oscar thunder. However, the Zero Dark Thirty actress set the record straight yesterday in a post on her Facebook.
"I find it very sad that media makes up bogus stories about women fighting in this industry," Jessica wrote, "I've done two photo shoots with Jennifer Lawrence over the years and have found her to be utterly charming and a great talent. I've told her how beautiful her film work is."
It's nice to see that the girls are friends despite being up for the same major award!
Both ladies were in London over the weekend for the BAFTA awards, and neither of them won that night. Who do you think will take home the Oscar?
