2012 was one amazing year for Adele!Not only did the British singer give birth to her first child with her boyfriend Simon Konecki, but her sophomore album 21 just set another record and beat Taylor Swift's Red.
It's the highest selling album of 2012, selling more than 4.4 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
21 was released two years ago back in January 2011 but sales are still going remarkably strong.
This is the second consecutive year that 21, which features hits "Someone Like You" and "Set Fire To The Rain", was the most sold album. It sold 5.8 million copies in 2011.
Taylor Swift's Red took second place on the highest selling albums of 2012, which is also very impressive considering it was just released in November 2012.
Congratulations to Adele on her breakout year!
