The X Factor finale came to a close with a new winner: Tate Stevens.We caught up with Tate, third place winners Fifth Harmony, Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid to discuss Tate's big win.
Tate talked about his win, saying, "this is crazy," adding that he thought someone might have made a mistake when they called his name.
He recounted the moment he won being a shock, but called it "so amazing."
L.A Reid is definitely a huge Tate supporter, saying, "He really deserved it, he's a wonderful guy, he does have the X Factor, he is a star, he can sing his butt off..."
Simon Cowell weighed in on Tate's win, calling him, "a fantastic singer."
Demi Lovato talked about her favorite moment--seeing Tate win--as she explained, "This definitely deserved to go to someone who is so talented and such a gentleman...very happy for him."
And of course, we chatted up One Direction earlier on the red carpet, where they offered up their advice and yes, Harry Styles was asked about Taylor Swift!
