Kristen Bell and Julianne Hough helped DoSomething.org and Aeropostale launch the fifth-annual 'Teens for Jeans' campaign on Tuesday, along with a slew of celebs.

Cody Simpson, Booboo Stewart, Josie Loren and more also attended the star-studded event on January 10 at Palihouse in West Hollywood, Calif., collecting jeans for a local L.A. homeless shelter. The stars also included letters, photos and videos with words of encouragement.

To kick things off, Aeropostale donated 1,000 brand-new pairs of jeans to the event, on top of the 10,000 pairs it's already donating to youth shelters around the country. Jeans are the most-requested items by homeless teens, which is why the 'Teens for Jeans' campaign encourages people to donate gently worn pairs for homeless youth.

Want to get involved? From January 16 through February 12, you can make a denim donation to any Aeropostale or P.S. from Aeropostale store. As a thank you, Aeropostale will give you an additional 25% off a new pair of jeans in return.

All of the donated jeans will be distributed to local shelters throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. You can also get your school involved by running a jeans drive. The school that collects the most jeans will win $5,000 and new Aero jeans for every student. For more information on 'Teens for Jeans,' visit DoSomething.org, and check out Demi Lovato's PSA about the campaign below.
