If you ask officer James Ferrazzo, there's absolutely nothing wrong with one of New York City's finest taking a little time out of his busy crime-fighting schedule to get his groove on.

In a viral video that was posted to YouTube on Friday, James can be seen in the middle of a crowded Brooklyn block party, happily dancing to Silento's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)."

According to the New York Daily News, James was a welcome presence at the fun-filled shindig. Daiyana Gordon, the woman who shared the clip online, told the site, "It was a great way of him showing the kids and the community that he is a regular person especially with all the negative publicity police officers have been getting."

Apparently, the block party attendees weren't the only ones impressed with the officer's moves. The YouTube clip has over 100,000 views and counting.

Obviously, some of the interest comes from seeing a uniformed officer bonding with citizens in such a relatable way, but we can't deny that the main draw is watching pretty much anyone do the Whip and Nae Nae. For instance, the ever-charming Riley Curry made the Whip and Nae Nae her dances of choice on her third birthday, and more recently, One Direction learned their Whip/Nae Nae skills from a young fan in Kansas City.

Seriously, if you still don't have your Whip and Nae Nae perfected by now, make your way to this clip of the Suga and Spice Girls totally killing the dances and you'll be block party-ready in no time.
