Nicki Minaj is on a take-no-prisoners mission.
After calling out MTV's Video Music Awards for not nominating "Anaconda" for Video of the Year, Nicki's swiftly moved on to the next entry on her sh*t list - her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels. Recently, the "Feeling Myself" rapper's former boo released a song called "Lifeline" in which he alleged that he wrote some of The Pinkprint album, while simultaneously dissing Nicki's new boyfriend Meek Mill.
Apparently, messing with Nicki's rap-writing skills (and her man) was not the move because on Wednesday, the Head Barb in Charge took her frustrations out on stage during a stop on her Pinkprint Tour.
Sheesh. Safaree will need a lot of water to cool down from that burn. Clearly, whatever love remained between Nicki and Safaree after they ended their 12-year relationship earlier this year just vanished into a thick, Minajesty-scented cloud.
Maybe it's because the peace-lover in me, but I kind of prefer it when Nicki isn't so riled up about this type of situation, specifically when it comes to responding to Safaree and his lovesick music. Just keep doing you, Nicki! Get back to smiling and entertaining the Barbz on tour. Heck, try engaging in some seriously over-the-top PDA with Meek onstage. After hearing Drake's "Back to Back" diss track towards Meek, he could probably use a little extra affection.
