When it comes to Mariah Carey's new relationship, she appears to be shedding the "elusive" label in the name of love.During a show at Caesars Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Mariah shouted out her new boyfriend James Packer, and even dedicated her performance of "Hero" to the 47-year-old businessman. Reportedly, James flew out to Mimi's show and had a front row seat to her onstage dedication.
"I have a new heart tonight," Mariah said to the crowd. "James is in my heart tonight."
Well, alrighty then, Mimi! Clearly, she's in heaven with her lovin' boyfriend and simply couldn't resist sharing her new status as a smitten, starry-eyed songstress with the world. Although the "#Beautiful" singer remained noticeably silent during her split with ex Nick Cannon she's happily taking a less tight-lipped approach with her new beau.
Things between the new couple seem to be progressing quite nicely. Just last month, we were still trying to figure out whether they were actually a thing after they were spotted holding hands in Capri, Italy. But now that Mariah has basically let us know that James is bae, we hope nothing but the best for the future of this fabulous (and ridiculously rich) duo.
