Following her interesting pregnancy announcement, Bristol Palin gave everyone a glimpse of her growing belly.
In the Instagram selfie, Sarah Palin's 24-year-old daughter is glowing, showing off her baby bump in a white top. "Celebrated six years working for the best people I know. This place is my home (I actually have a job #shocker)," she captioned the snap.
Last month, Bristol made headlines when she announced she is expecting her second child, not long after calling it quits with ex-fiancé Dakota Meyer. That split was shocking considering she announced their break-up days before their May 23rd wedding.
"Honestly, I've been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one," she wrote on her blog when she revealed her pregnancy news. "At the end of the day there's nothing I can't do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace. Life moves on no matter what. So no matter how you feel, you get up, get dressed, show up, and never give up. When life gets tough, there is no other option but to get tougher." Um..congratulations?
After that, she went on to say the pregnancy was "planned," writing in another blog post, "So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me, and talk about me. None of us are perfect. I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume."
The Dancing With The Stars alum added, "This pregnancy was actually planned. Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on."
We're sure Bristol catches a lot of flack on social media, considering she hasn't been shy about sharing her conservative views or snapping back at haters. Still, it is what it is. She is pregnant again, but she isn't 16 anymore. Now that she's announced she's expecting and addressed the reason behind it, here's hoping she posts more of these mom-to-be shots and gives less attention to the "trolls" who hate on them.
