Throughout history, we humans have had some strange fashion trends. And I don't just mean body piercings and tattoos (I'm guilty of both) - we're talking powdered wigs, a city-wide craze of stilt-walking, bombasting (literally stuffing your clothes to achieve Stay Puft status) - to women wearing something called "hobble skirts" to literally slow them down. We're an interesting species when it comes to trends, which keeps things fun. If you ever find yourself wondering "what's next? Dyed armpit hair?" then now is your time. Because it is apparently a thing (and not just for Miley Cyrus).

And while we might be initially scratching our heads just a little bit about this trend (or how safe it is for your skin), there's been a slew of articles and videos about it and also tips on how to do it safely (warning: bleach is involved).
