The 2012 American Music Awards red carpet was certainly not short on star power--or fashion (check out our best and worst AMAs picks)--as celebs turned out to celebrate AMAs' 40th anniversary.We were fortunate to chat with some of the stars on the carpet, asking them about the AMAs and getting them to weigh in on the Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez breakup.
Neon Trees, Megan & Liz, Alyssa Bernal, and Cyndi Lauper were among those who gave a shout out to the AMAs' big anniversary.
There was also talk of guilty pleasures, which included AMA winner Carly Rae Jepsen, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Ke$ha, and One Direction.
As for go-to dance moves, everyone seemed to have Psy's "Gangnam Style" on their list--some even showed off their moves for us!
We loved hearing what the stars thought of Justin and Selena's split, with some hoping they'll get back together.
Judging from Jelena holding hands after the AMAs and hanging at an after-party, it looks like the odds are good that they'll be a couple again!
