We all saw the memes where everyone joked that one of Pharrell's Grammys outfits looked like a hotel bellboy, but we hadn't heard a word about anyone thinking Ed Sheeran looked like a waiter - until this one surfaced. It all started when a parody account with the Twitter handle @edsheersan (note the "s" in between the "r" and "a") tweeted this out on Grammys night. "I love @ladygaga. Spoke to her earlier and she mistook me for a waiter. Gotta love the #GRAMMYs. #INeedANewSuit? Aha."
A lot of people thought it was the real Ed Sheeran tweeting and that was all it took. Suddenly, everyone was talking about how Lady Gaga mistook Ed for a waiter. As IF Lady Gaga wouldn't know who Ed is!
The two superstars took it all in stride, with Ed first posting this:

...and then joking about it later on Instagram with this photo, along with the caption, "Just bumped into gaga she's fetching me a drink. God bless the press."
As if Ed's posts weren't enough to convince everyone, Gaga pointed out that there ARE NO waiters at the Grammys and since Gaga is a seasoned Grammy-goer, she's well aware of that fact. Oh, and she is also well-aware of an awesome artist (you may have heard of him) named Ed Sheeran.
