One Direction fans found an amazing way to make Harry Styles' birthday better than he ever could have imagined. After all, what do you get the guy who has everything? 1D fans decided that giving to charity was the perfect way to honor him and we couldn't be more proud of the fandom.Fans answered the call of Directioner Amy Flanagan (@1DFansGive), who created a fundraising page that said: "We are holding a charity drive for the London Lesbian and Gay Switchboard in honor of Harry Styles' 21st Birthday! Harry recorded a 'happy birthday' message to Switchboard earlier this year for their 40th birthday!"
She further explained LLGS' mission, which "provides a listening service for people to discuss their feelings in an impartial and non-judgmental way, as well as information and advice."
The campaign did amazingly well, pulling together over $14,000 for LLGS!
We think giving to charity in the guys' names is such a brilliant idea and, earlier this month, fans raised over $11,000 for British Asian Trust for Zayn Malik's birthday and in December, nearly $25,000 was donated to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice for Louis Tomlinson's birthday.
