The Maroon 5 frontman announced he'll perform "Lost Stars" at the star-studded show, which he sings in the film Begin Again. The song was nominated for an Oscar for best original song, and although Adam won't take home a trophy if it wins (he didn't write it), it's clear he considers singing at the Oscars a big honor as well.
So...I'll be singing at the #OSCARS!!! WhaaaatjQuery191018919114473989718_1422315291195!?!? Thank you @theAcademy! #LostStars

While Common and John Legend haven't made an announcement of an on-stage duet at the Oscars just yet, we're crossing our fingers the duo will be on hand to perform the Oscar-nominated song Glory from Selma.Considering Rita Ora's song Grateful from Beyond the Lights also got a nomination, it's possible that she will perform as well. "The oscars. Wow thank you for this nomination @diane_warren and I have had the best time recording this," she wrote on Instagram after the nominations were announced.
I'm Not Gonna Miss You from Glen Campbell...I'll Be Me and Everything Is Awesome from The Lego Movie were also nominated.
