Sam Smith and His Boyfriend Broke Up Already

This is such a bummer...less than a month after going public on Instagram and sharing super adorable selfies and videos, Sam Smith and his boyfriend Jonathan Zeizel have already broken up!

Sam seemed to confirm the sad news himself during his concert in Toronto Tuesday night before performing "Like I Can." "This song is very special to me today," he told the audience. "It's because I've actually had to do a very similar thing today with someone I've been seeing."

The "Stay With Me" singer, who met his model beau when he was an extra on set of his music video, has also been sharing glum Instagram posts too.

Sometimes you just need to lay in bed with a glass of red wine and a football T shirt and listen to Joni Mitchell. It's been a sad day. Beautiful show, but sad day x

No word on why the twosome split, but we hope Sam finds happiness with someone else.
