TLC is gearing up to do another album and they want their fans to pitch in to help them make it. The remaining two members, T-Boz and Chili (Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died tragically in a car accident in 2002) are making one last album and they've launched a Kickstarter campaign to help them fund it.The duo needs to raise $150,000 and at the time this was posted, they were already up to $110,000 with still 28 days left to go. Turns out, $5,000 of that money was pledged by none other than fellow pop star Katy Perry, TMZ is reporting.
As an added bonus, Katy's generous donation could score her a sleepover with either T-Boz or Chilli, with five spots being reserved for a slumber party with each girl for those who pledge $5,000 or more.
Don't worry, though, if you love TLC as much as Katy does, but you can't afford the $5k, there are other rewards for smaller donations. Those who pledge $5 or more will get an exclusive Kickstarter remix, while those who pledge $15 or more will get a digital copy of the group's final album.
