Who doesn't want to look like Carrie Underwood? The singer just starred in a new Almay makeup commercial, and it makes us want to run to the store and buy her products ASAP.In the clip, the beauty and mom-to-be wears looks gorgeous as ever but without over-doing it. The campaign is called Simply American, and she nails it.
In it she's wearing minimal, but the perfect makeup, including a light pink lip and neutral tones on her cheeks and eyes. Her hair is a lot lighter, too.
"Almay celebrates the true spirit of American beauty, which rises from the heart of our great country," she says as a young blonde girl runs through a field. It also shows Carrie in an American flag tank top while her song 'All-American Girl' plays in the background.
"Dreams are born. Hopes fly high. We love this country with a passion," the star explains while holding her dog, Ace. "You can see the pride in our eyes, read the joy in our faces. Hear the love in our lips. We create products that deliver an effortless beauty look. Genuine and glowing with confidence."
"When I'm on stage, I see gorgeous girls of all ages who embody that all-American spirit, so I thought it was so cool that 'All-American Girl' is featured, because that's what we are," she continues. "Everybody has something about them that is absolutely gorgeous, but sometimes it's nice to have a little help to bring that all out."
