Welcome to the west coast, Taylor Swift, it's been waiting for you. Just when she's been all about New York City, the singer popped up in California with her good pal Lorde to enjoy a day out and about in Catalina Island.

Don't think it was entirely a girls' trip, either. Tay's adorable dad joined the ladies on their fun day, too.
"Scott Swift, the newest member of @haimtheband," T-Swift shared on Instagram with a pic of her dad walking with her friends.
According to E! News, the group went shopping and got ice cream while there. We're sure the ladies were in town because of the Golden Globes. Like Taylor was last year, Lorde is up for an award this year thanks to her song "Yellow Flicker Beat" from the Mockingjay, Part 1 soundtrack.
