Phillip Phillips, the cute guy who won American Idol back in 2012, is officially off the market. He's engaged!The "Gone, Gone, Gone" singer asked his longtime girlfriend Hannah Blackwell to marry him. He popped the big question over the holidays.
"My best Christmas surprise is happening. We're engaged yall! @HannahBlackwell!" he tweeted late Friday night.
The adorable couple have been together five years, way before he even auditioned for the show. They reportedly met at a shelter for women and children, where they both were volunteers.
She expressed her love for her new ring and for her fiancé on Instagram. She wrote, "I've been dreaming of this for over 20 years. I've been dreaming of this guy for just that long. Overwhelmed with happiness."
