Avril Lavigne had fans pretty worried a few weeks ago when #GetWellSoonAvril and #PrayforAvril started popping up on Twitter and the singer simply replied "thank you" to one of the tweets.She also exchanged direct messages with a fan account, saying, "I feel bad because I haven't been able to say anything to the fans to let them no [sic] why I've been absent. I'm torn as I'm quite private...I'm not feeling well. I'm having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers."
Her rep did confirm to Billboard that the exchange was authentic and while the health issue was not specified, Avril was not pregnant as some had assumed.
It didn't take long for the pregnancy rumors to give way to rehab rumors and while the singer has every right to keep whatever health issue she's facing private, she did take to Twitter to shoot down the rehab rumor.
