The "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" rapper deleted his account after his follower count went from 1.6 million to 272,000 immediately following the Instagram purge, which deleted all robot, spam and inactive accounts Thursday.
According to Uptown Magazine, Instagram users started cracking all kinds of jokes before he deleted it, with one commenting on one of Mase's pics, "Yooooo did Diddy take yo follower count too? See what happens when u leave Bad Boy? * harlem shakes while whispering Take That Take That *.
And another one, who posted this meme.:

Of course, Mase wasn't the only star who lost a ton of followers in the purge. Justin Bieber lost 15 percent of his followers - more than 3.5 million - according to CNN. Meanwhile, Ariana Grande lost 1.5 million followers, Kim Kardashian lost 1.3 million followers and Selena Gomez lost 1.1 million followers.By the end of the December, Instagram users may see even lower numbers, considering the site will be cleaning up accounts until then. Gulp.
