"Everyone thinks it's wild but are so happy for them," a source told the mag. "Benji always tends to fall in love easily, but this time it's for real and he landed a great girl. They obviously both make each other incredibly happy and there's nothing better than that."
Cameron and the Good Charlotte rocker have been dating for seven months, after getting set up by Nicole Richie, who is married to Benji's twin brother Joel.
"I approve of anything that's going to make Benji happy," the fashion mogul told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in July. As for if she set them up, Nicole said, "Yes. I'm going to take responsibility for everything!"So far, Cameron and Benji have kept mum on the validity of the engagement news, but the actress first sparked rumors that she was set to tie the knot in October when she stepped out with a gold ring on that finger at a luncheon celebrating the Hollywood Costume exhibition in Los Angeles.
