The ginger singer recently opened up to Yahoo Celebrity about his relationship with Greek beauty Athina Andrelos, and lets just say we shouldn't prep ourselves for anything too serious right now."I'm not getting to that point. I think had my star stopped going up then yeah maybe," the Most-Googled Man of 2014 said when asked about taking the next big steps in life.
"If my career had plateaued and it was just England and I was just working four months in a year and then chilling out. But I've done three weeks of promo and a month tour and the album took a few years to write," he went on.
Makes sense...and definitely sounds like he's thought about it, right? He has been dating her for about a year now. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how that plays out. For the meantime, we can blame loving him so much for the reason he's not settling down.
"Being a homegrown artist and just being big in England I could have settled down a lot quicker but with the whole world of promo and touring it's all a lot. So I don't really see that happening anytime soon," Ed added.
"I'd like to have kids and a wife, and you know, drop them off at school and like, do normal things rather that constantly being on tour...Because I'm young now and I haven't really got a social life. This is all I do. It's the best job in the world, but I'll get to the point where there's more to life than work."
