This one always makes us giggle: Harry Styles has been nominated for NME's Villain of the Year award. Again. Because nothing says villain like One Direction's resident cupcake.This year, Harry is up against ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift (who is also nominated for Hero of the Year, go figure), Bono, David Cameron, Nigel Farage, and Russell Brand. Shrug. We can think of more villainous types.
Here's the thing - Harry has won their Villain of the Year award for two years in a row. As if being nominated didn't feel enough like a mistake, he actually won the thing twice.
We'd love to know their criteria when selecting their villain nominees. And this comes on the heels of Harry being named Rolling Stone's Boy of the Year of the Girl, so obviously there's some conflicting beliefs here.
One Direction has been nominated again for the Worst Band category, as well as their pals 5 Seconds of Summer. Again, we think there must be some error.
