Selena Gomez had more of a tough time with her American Music Awards performance a few weeks ago than we thought. She just released a behind-the-scenes video that shows her getting all kinds of emotional, and even shedding tears right before her big "The Heart Wants What It Wants" performance that night."This performance is a little bit frightening," she tells the camera. "When I had the intention behind the performance, I knew that I wanted it to be all of me, because somebody asked me a while ago, 'What's the one thing you wish people knew about you?' And I said I wanted it to be my heart."
When she pulled up to the big event she said, "Everybody is there and all glamorous, so fun...but then, I gotta be all emotional. Feels like a lump in my throat."
In the clip, you see Sel in tears several times. You also see everyone from her team congratulate her on her awesome performance afterwards. Unfortunately, there's no mention of Justin Bieber's name, but you can definitely tell he's the white elephant in the entire room.
