We've researched lip balms for years, hoping to find the holy grail of kisser protectors. And our verdict is now officially in.
First of all, you should know that makeup artists have a favorite lip balm. It's Aquaphor, and it's a bargain, found in the drugstore. Celebrities also have a favorite lip balm. It's called Baume de Rose By Terry, and it costs $60 for 10 grams.
We like both. But Aquaphor doesn't always do the trick for us, and who among us has $60 to toss away on lip balm?
Our happy medium: Bite Beauty's Agave Lip Mask. Yes, it's heavy, just like the mask it says it is. But for people with chronically dry lips - like ours - it's a necessity. Even better: It comes in clear or a champagne color, and it costs a fairly reasonable $26. One or two applications last all day, and one tube lasts for months.
We've never gotten this product for free. We've never had it gifted to us. And we've stashed no fewer than three tubes of this stuff around our house and office just to make sure we're never without it. We're just that crazy about it.
