The Korean rapper's video for 'Gangnam Style' has been viewed so many times since it was posted back in 2012 that YouTube just couldn't keep up.
After reaching 2,147,483,647 views, the ticker was officially maxed out. Who would have ever thought a video would get so many views, anyway? The developers probably set that number as a 'this will never happen' kind of situation and then PSY came along and crushed it.
In a message shared via their Google+ page, YouTube explained the situation:
Right now, when you click over the video counter, it looks like a Las Vegas slot machine (minus the cherries), so we're not sure if they're still working on it or if the views are adding up that quickly. If they are, the video sharing site might have to update their threshold again!
