Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are two of the biggest names in the business right now and as each of them knows all too well, being a pop diva sometimes means rivalries with other pop stars.When Gaga first met Taylor, her first impression was not all that flattering. Gaga admits that she thought T.Swift was "full of s**t" when she first met her and Taylor said she was a huge fan. Fair assumption, there is a lot of a**-kissing that happens in their industry.
"It was at the AMAs or something - her and I were sitting next to each other, and she goes, 'Oh my god! I love ARTPOP! And I love 'Applause!' 'Applause is my favorite song!'" she revealed on Howard Stern's Howard 100. "I was thinking, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, this chick is full of s**t,' right?"
Actually, she wasn't full of s**t at all. Gaga explained that her stylist called her shortly after their encounter and said that Tay was blasting Mother Monster's music and that she was "dancing and posing."
After the call, she said she changed her "full of s**t" first impression. "I said to myself, 'I like this girl.' You know why? Because she said the same thing to my face as she said behind my back...Yeah, I like her."
So do we...and we love that they like each other. Maybe they can take their friendship to the studio and give us the coolest collab that ever was.
