But here's something you may not know. Vitamin A can be a skin savior. But it's also, essentially, the vampire of the skin care world. It has a vulnerability.
"Sunlight renders it inactive," says Celeste Hilling, a skin-care coach as well as the CEO and product formulator for the Skin Authority beauty line. "As soon as sunlight hits it. If you want to use a vitamin A product, use it only at night."
