As you can see by the looks on their faces, Sasha and Malia Obama had far better things to do than watch their dad pardon a turkey on Thanksgiving eve.As President Barack Obama was explaining why Mac and Cheese the turkeys wouldn't be served up for anyone's Thanksgiving dinner, Sasha and Malia stood by his side, with Malia folding her arms with a look of dismay, and her younger sis giving one epic eye roll.
"I am here to announce what I'm sure will be the most talked about executive action this month," the president began, jokingly referring to the criticism of his recent executive order on immigration.
"Today I'm taking an action fully within my legal authority, the same kind of action taken by Democrats and Republican presidents before me to spare the lives of two turkeys, Mac and Cheese, from a terrible and delicious fate," he continued. "It is a little puzzling that I do this every year, but I will say that I enjoy it because with all the tough stuff that swirls around in this office it's nice once in a while to just say Happy Thanksgiving."According to MSNBC, when asked by her dad if she would like to pet Cheese the turkey, Malia responded, "Nah."
