Nina Dobrev couldn't wait to spend Thanksgiving with her family.When the Vampire Diaries star was asked what she's most excited about this holiday season, she told E! News, "I'm really excited and looking forward to spending time with my family over the holidays. Since we don't get to see each other very much during the year I love to take full advantage of the time we get to spend together."
"It's going to be a great time filled with days on the slopes snowboarding with my brother and spending nights around the fireplace with my family hopefully making lots of s'mores," she continued.
Last year, Nina celebrated Thanksgiving with her BFF Julianne Hough in Nashville, Tenn. "Giving thanks. For friends. Family. Love. Life. Oh and food. Hot coco. Fireplaces. Crisp winter air. Laughter. Sleeping in," Nina wrote on Twitter.
She added, "Also thankful for @juleshough -friend who has become family. And to her amazing family who has welcomed and treated me like one of their own."
In addition to spending time with her own family this year, Nina is also looking forward to entertaining friends in the new home she bought recently in Los Angeles, adding, "one of my favorite things to do is host a girls night where my girlfriends and I can get together and come together in the kitchen, test out new recipes and just enjoy each others company."
"I also love throwing a good game night with running charades and all! I'm especially excited to host these dinner and game nights once I've finished decorating my home."
