Carrie Underwood might be all about primping before she goes out and about in public nowadays, but we have a feeling that might be changing pretty soon. The mom-to-be and Almay spokesperson recently talked about everything beauty and baby to Yahoo!, and surprised everyone when she said she doesn't leave the house without makeup. Uh, isn't that blasphemy?"I don't think I ever have makeup-free days, to be honest," the country singer admitted. "I wear makeup for me. I don't want to walk by a mirror and feel like I haven't given some sort of effort. I just feel better when I have a little on."
Carrie says it's not all about the glam squads and primping, either. "When I am on tour, I enjoy doing my own hair and makeup," she shared. "There are just so many people on the road, and it's kind of therapeutic for me to be able to sit on my butt and have all my things, and it's quiet. It's my time to play."
All of that might change come next Spring. She's expecting her first child with her hubby Mike Fisher around that time. We bet we'll see some fresh-faced Carrie then!
Oh and it looks like the makeup will have to stick with her. They're reportedly having a boy!
