Beyoncé loves to surprise her fans.
After the superstar singer's new singles "7/11" and "Ring Off" leaked Thursday night, Bey dropped a music video for "7/11," in which she twerks on a balcony and dances around a hotel suite in her underwear, make-up free. And still kills it.
This music video is different than the souped-up, heavily-produced clips we usually see when the "Drunk in Love" songstress releases a hot track. In this one, we see an uninhibited, playful Beyoncé having a blast with some of her dancers.
It's so casual that it looks like she decided to shoot the video on a whim on an off-day when they were bored at their hotel.
While there wasn't any controversy surrounding the lyrics of "7/11," there was quite a bit of buzz about "Ring Off"...which Beyonce hasn't given us a video for (just yet). When fans heard lyrics like, "You used to dress and fix your hair/ Then you'd smile through your tears/ In the mirror you would stare and say a prayer," they assumed it was about Beyoncé and Jay Z's relationship.
The track, however, is actually about her mom's recent divorce from her father Mathew Knowles, who reportedly fathered a child with another woman during their marriage.
Both tracks are a part of Beyoncé's platinum edition box set of her self-titled album, set to be released Monday.
