All right, what the heck? On Teen Mom 2, we saw Leah Calvert struggling with her anxiety and when she went to the doctor, she was given anxiety meds that clearly did not agree with her.Leah is always totally on the ball and it was very obvious that the pills were too much for her. She was slurring her speech and admitted to husband Jeremy Calvert that she felt like a druggie when she took them. Fortunately, they were able to adjust the dose and she was back to her normal self on subsequent episodes.
So, what's all of this that we're hearing reported about Leah allegedly being addicted to prescription pain killers now?
"We think Leah could be taking powerful painkillers including Lortab and Percocet," an insider told RadarOnline in July.
We're not sure if it was the same source or not, but In Touch also spoke with someone who said that her friends are considering an intervention. "Leah's not in a good place right now. She's lost. Her friends think she needs rehab," the source told In Touch.
Could it be that she's just overwhelmed with everything that she has going on? She does have A LOT on her plate.
We feel like we've come to know Leah pretty well after watching her for years on the show, so unless she comes out and confirms this one herself, we're gonna keep giving her the benefit of the doubt.
