The One Direction guys are ahead of the game - taking the next round of breakup rumors head on by reassuring fans not to worry when they appear to go on a break at some point. It doesn't mean they're splitting up!During a recent interview with In:Demand, the guys shed a little light on taking "more time" on their next album, which may take them out of the spotlight for just a moment.
Louis Tomlinson explained, "We might take a little bit more time on this [next] record, so that's why they may think we are going on a break. We just want to take a little bit more time."
Liam Payne added, "Because writing is a little bit like a break sometimes when you sit and write songs." Makes sense, but Harry Styles was worried Liam's comment might hurt their chances of getting real time off. He joked, "Don't say that Liam...we won't get any holidays."
Liam's response? "I didn't mean it."
